Jolly LLB 2 Movie Review

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is back with another interesting film Jolly LLB 2 which is the sequel to the hit 2013 film Jolly LLB starring Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani. Jolly LLB 2 is a courtroom drama film starring Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla in lead roles. This is the first time Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi will share screen space together.

The plot has enough laugh-out-loud situations and emotional outbursts to keep you invested especially in the razor-sharp first half. The film also provides the right dose of action inside and outside the courtroom.

Post interval though, the film hits a pause button at times. The film changes its tone from here on and becomes a commentary on the Indian judicial system. But, this is just a beginning for Jolly. His fight against the mighty and corrupt will take him to unknown places and dreaded people. It’s tragic and funny at the same time.

Akshay Kumar’s comic timing is the backbone of this story. His acting needs an applause. His fight against the mighty corrupt is believable and as real as it can be. Jagdishwar is funny and can go to any extent to prove his point. Saurabh Shukla’s performance is hysterical. He is one of the strong weapons that Subhash Kapoor has in his arsenal. The love interest of Jagdishwar, Pushpa is a sweet and charming girl who keeps Akshay grounded throughout the film. Annu Kapoor’s hilarious and quirky courtroom wars with Akshay are a hallmark of this film.

Final Outlook

Performance of entire star cast and funny one liner are the highlights of the film. One-Time Watch. 3 (Three Star) out of 5 star for this.
