Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 gets UA certificate. The upcoming courtroom comedy film has passed the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) filters without any cuts. The supposedly controversial references to the legal system have been advised to be retained in the film.
“The film that was shown to censor board had no controversial statements on the legal system. Even the reference to the show company Bata was removed before the film was brought to the censor board. The version of film shown to the censor board had nothing even remotely controversial about it.” said a close source to the development.
Jolly LLB 2 is the sequel to the hit 2013 film Jolly LLB starring Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani. Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the film also stars Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla in key roles. It is slated to release on 10th February 2017.
